Bilal Naseer, M.D

Bilal Naseer, MD, FCCP, is a board-certified physician at Pulmonary Medicine Associates in Roseville, California. He’s been with the practice since 2010 and specializes in critical care and infectious disease medicine.

Dr. Naseer earned his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan. After graduation, he moved to the United States and completed his residency in internal medicine at Columbia University’s Harlem Hospital Center in New York City.

After his residency, Dr. Naseer completed two fellowships. He was a fellow in infectious disease at the University of Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital and Rochester General Hospital in New York. His second fellowship was in critical care medicine at Stanford University, where he worked at Stanford Hospital, the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System, and Santa Clara Valley Hospital in Stanford, California.

Dr. Naseer has several certifications. He’s a diplomate with the American Board of Internal Medicine, the Subspecialty Board of Infectious Disease, and the Subspecialty Board of Critical Care Medicine. 

Dr. Naseer is an active member of the medical community, and his leadership positions include lead physician at Dignity Health Antibiotic Stewardship Task Force, and a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, to name a few. 

Along with his leadership roles, Dr. Naseer is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Infectious Disease Society of America, the American Medical Association, and the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society (SSVMS).

When he’s not with patients, Dr. Naseer enjoys exercise. He’s an athlete who loves both outdoor sports and working out at the gym.
