About the Physician
Christa Smith, FNP-C, grew up in the Bay Area and obtained her undergraduate education at University of California, Irvine, continuing on for her Masters and Certification at Samuel Merritt University in Sacramento, CA. She grew up with a physician role model as her mother practiced medicine in pediatrics in San Jose, CA for over 40 years.
After graduating from UC Irvine in Sociology as a Division I scholarship athlete of volleyball, she decided she wanted to continue going to school for nursing. After obtaining her Masters in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification, she began practicing in Family Medicine and Urgent Care.
Since joining PMA, she has taken special interest in helping patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
In her free time, Christa enjoys reading, traveling, exercising, and spending time with her family!
