Daniel Ikeda, M.D.

Daniel Ikeda, MD, FCCP, specializes in critical care, pulmonology, and infectious diseases at Pulmonary Medicine Associates in Sacramento, California. Dr. Ikeda earned his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. During his pulmonary diseases fellowship at the University of California Davis School of Medicine, he was also an instructor in internal medicine. He stayed there to complete a second fellowship in infectious diseases. He then moved to Honolulu, to complete his residency and internship at the University of Hawaii. 

Dr. Ikeda is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, the Subspecialty Board of Infectious Diseases, the Subspecialty Board of Pulmonary Medicine, and the Subspecialty Board of Critical Care Medicine. He holds multiple professional memberships to stay abreast of the latest information within her specialties, including memberships with the California Medical Association, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society. He’s also a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. 

When he’s not at Pulmonary Medicine Associates providing telemedicine evaluations or treating complex infections, Dr. Ikeda enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He adores living close to beautiful areas like Lake Tahoe and Napa, California.
